2007 Champion Stallion

This beautiful 2 year old stallion is from the mare St Pr St Maradital who is by Donnerhall out of El/ st pr Marella, who is also the mother of St Pr St Madonia. Amazingly Furstin Amore's grandmother Mon Amore is Marella's Grandmother! This is just another star to add to the list of many that have derived from this incredible mare line.

Aveden's Finesse has been awarded Qld Runner-up Newcomer of the year 2007. Despite their debut season being cut short, Kris is very happy to accept the award and would like to thank their coach Julie Petersen-Smith, Sponsor Equilibrium - Catherine Graham, and also the great support from stud staff and family members.

A special congratulations also goes out to our very talented school based apprentice Kaitlin Dooney, who was also awarded the QLD Junior Young Dressage Rider of 2007 for the 2nd year in a row ! Her dedication and ability will make her a rider to watch out for in the future ."

We are very excited to announce the arrival of our first few foals for the year, with some 'sneek peek' pictures below.

In this first group is the lovely Don Romantic (Don Schuffro / Romancier ) colt, imported in utero from our State Premium Don Davidoff daughter, Madonia.

'Donny' is a very elegant and athletic colt with incredible movement that you would expect from his International pedigree, and is a serious stallion / competition prospect for the most discerning buyer.

Just arrived on the 22nd of October is the absolutely stunning Rascalino ( Rotspon / Velten III ) filly 'Ruby' from one of our best producing Contango II daughters Chloe. Chloe's first foal 'Calledora' had her competitive debut as a 3 year old this year with wins at associate Novice level (see Show Results).

Ruby's sire Rascalino finished in 4 th place at this years World Young Horse Championships in Verden, and is an extremely popular sire in Germany now due to the outstanding quality of his first crop of foals last year.

We are now awaiting the last of this years crop, due to arrive in the next few weeks by World Champion Fidertanz, and the First Kiss foal from our imported star Finesse.

Aveden is proud to announce the arrival of our third imported mare "St. Pr. Furstin Amour". By the legendary sire Furst Heinrich (Florestan / Donnerhall-Weinburg) from St. Pr. El. Mon Dieu (Ramino / Shikampur xx) "Furstin Amour" was awarded State Premium in 2006, with top marks for movement and conformation, and went on to compete at Rastede, where she finished in the top 25 of all mares presented.
