Aveden Sporthorses

2007 saw the start of both Finesse and Furstin Amore's competitive careers, with Finesse ridden by Kris and Furstin Amore ridden by our good friend and colleague Karen Prain.

Karen has also had great success with her very talented 3 y.o Aveden Calledora, with wins at associate Novice level already.

Getting 3 and 4 year old horses used to the exciting show environment can take a long time, however we were very impressed with how quickly both girls adjusted and both remained very level headed in the ring, which made them competitive from the start.

We are very proud of Finesse and Furstin's debut this year. We look forward to what we are sure will be a successful 2008, particularly with our third state premium mare Avedens Madonia starting work undersaddle in January.
	Congratulations also go out to Bianca Rosin, who owns Aveden Conrad (Classic / Falkland). This young and very talented combination have also had great success this year, placing 2nd at the Queensland Young Rider Championships. They had many other high placings at official shows, including coming second to Avedens Finesse in the prelim 1.3 at PRARG Official *
As mentioned earlier, Karen Prain has had a great start with her very talented 3 year old Aveden Calledora (Cooperit / Contango II). After being undersaddle for only 6 months, She won the Novice 2.2 at the Brookfield Associate day in June ! Karen bought Calledora from us as a foal, and they are a great example of how rewarding it is to buy a baby and raise to it to be the horse you want it to be.This is a serious combination to watch our for in 2008
